The Canadian Orthopaedic Foundation raises money through public donations and invests those funds in programs to advance orthopaedic research, promote patient and public education, and improve community care.
Annually, the Foundation makes available over $35,000 in grants and awards to Canadian researchers. Since awarding its first research award in 1967, the Foundation has invested approximately $5.5 million in basic and clinical research in Canada.
