Peer Support Volunteer

To become an Ortho Connect Volunteer, complete an application form and return it to the Foundation. Please note that due to advances in technology and treatment, a surgery date within the last 2-3 years is preferred. The Foundation will review your application and contact you for a short telephone interview to confirm your skills and suitability for the program. Volunteers must also take part in a training session that may be held in person or via teleconference. Volunteers will receive a training manual with resources on peer support, skills for support-listening, communication, information on the Foundation, and information on orthopaedics from the Foundation.
